My name is JOLANTA ANDRAKA MILLIGAN (jolaa) and I run my own art and graphic design company under brand name Jolaa Studio Art Creations in Florida USA. I am a middle age woman who has always been impressed by all extremely beautiful colors, textures and natural materials like: gemstones, amber, leather, burlap, acrylic and oil paints, glass, natural fabrics and lace. My goal is to create something from almost nothing. I appreciate each moment of my life creating my art pieces. This gives me a lot of satisfaction, joy and serenity. There is nothing like seeing somebody smiling, admiring and recognizing my art. I can assure you - all of my projects have incredible healing power and they will transfer you to a very special world - Jolanta's art world. At the same time, I am humble and modest enough to esteem all real big artists I get the inspiration from and to consider myself a very simple person being in the state of seeing and feeling a lot around me. The beauty of nature and excitement coming from it makes me speechless, so instead of using words I chose to express my emotions by using all my senses to create pieces of my imagination in every other possible way. In my case many times art has been a safe shelter to me and finding such comfortable conditions for myself in uncomfortable situations I simply create what I really am and what I really feel. I am in a never ending process of finding my own, very individual and very specific style to whisper, cry and sometimes even scream my emotions out. I love working with paints and canvas, gemstones, silver, clay, shells, stained glass, sea glass, wood, driftwood, seashells, resin, leather, fabrics - playing with different techniques, trends, styles, designs using various tools and dancing with colors, light, lenses, laser rays, textures, forms, shapes, etc. My tools include: lens, digital designing equipment, pencils, crayons, chalk, brushes, canvas, paper, silk, batik, ink, dyes, wax, different paints and varnishes. Right now I am discovering the joy of creating healthy skin, vegan, organic spa products like homemade soaps, bath bombs, etc. Having diplomas in Professional Photography, Graphic Design, Jewelry Design, Digital Marketing & SEO, Social Media Marketing and having so many years of experience with advertising, publishing and printing companies I also create my art projects using more advanced techniques like digital photography, digital painting, desktop publishing, graphic design/editing software, producing the results of my work on wide format printers, plotters and engraving lasers. Equally, I get satisfaction from working with brushes, easels, painting knives, spatulas, pliers, drills, welders, saws etc... Sometimes I think I really have a dual artistic personality because one day I can be a very creative artist, the other day I am a happy handy woman :) This is why I perform my projects only by myself from design to completion. Creations made by me are simply different. They combine graphic design, digital and classic sketching, drawing and classic brush painting as well. They are made by using fine art techniques in different digital, professional graphic/illustration programs, then they are being transformed from its digital stage into my own subjective visual piece of artwork. I enjoy every moment of this complex process which joins modern and traditional techniques, very classic and quite ancient ( including hand painting ) into one, very one of a kind and mine. Being quite content with my existence I am fortunate to discover the immense spectrum of incredibly intriguing, intense and tempting blooms of my life in every single moment. Some kind of mysterious impulse lets me deeply sense and dream them up and then express my dreams in many creative ways. I explore them thoroughly with great satisfaction which provides me with priceless values like freedom, serenity, consolation, courage, confidence and energy - magic power to live fuller, spiced up life through the process of art creation. It comforts me by giving a chance to make most of my fantasies really real and I enjoy it. I love people around me and I feel loved by them, by my family members, by my friends - this is a greatest source of my motivation, inspiration and stimulation to express my deepest feelings in the ways I present here. LOVE encouraged me to uplift the value of my life to the higher spiritual level and opened for me the door to ART, but first of all I am simply a happy woman, mother, grandmother, wife to the very special man I love, a good friend to good friends of mine and then an artist. I am confident that my creativity and my imagination will be my best friends forever. This is all of me, this is one of me and hopefully you will find me to be a limited edition :) My husband tells me: "You are so different and so exotic.
